Chad is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner, holds the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® certification and has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. People often meet with Chad after their attorney recommends him in the divorce process or even prior to retaining divorce counsel. His creativity and ability to bring people together helps clients find common financial ground in any circumstance. When clients are faced with a major life transition and many decisions, Chad delivers consistent guidance to help them move forward with a detailed and flexible financial plan. He acts as the facilitator of different financial options, whether it’s property division, cash flow decisions, tax projections or providing for minor children or other family support items. In the process, he builds trust with both clients and attorneys to come to a resolution that is interest-based as well as financially fair.

Brett is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® practitioner, serving clients in divorce planning with over 10 years of experience. Brett is a valuable asset during the divorce process, both for clients and other professionals involved in the case, because of his thorough understanding of the financial obstacles that arise during divorce. With a background as a construction business owner and ministry facilitator for divorce and other family needs, Brett has experience with the practical side of finance (payroll, operations and human resources) as well as its emotional side. “We see people at all stages in life going through divorce and the result of their money habits. I enjoy watching a case go through and helping with the resolution, knowing I played a role in getting things organized for them and seeing their positive progress."

Barb Seibel*, J.D., CDFA®

Barb Seibel, J.D. spent years in private law practice where she practiced in the areas of family law and estate planning.   She is no stranger to financially complex divorces, family estates, and the intangible dynamics impacting these issues. She gained valuable experience working on complex issues, including spousal maintenance, business ownership, non-marital property and executive compensation plans.   Her work in these areas adds a layer of depth to her financial planning practice and in her work consulting with clients during the divorce process. Experience has taught her that every client’s situation is truly unique, and that digging in and finding those “minor” details can have a major impact on outcome and success.

Senior Client Service Associate, Mediator

Käri is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® practitioner and is passionate about her work. She is multi-dimensional and services many roles. She works very closely with the divorce team, as a skilled case manager and a first point of contact for clients. Over the past year, she has started to apply all of this knowledge and training to her own divorce mediation work, as a neutral mediator. Käri is also a member of the Collaborative Institute of Minnesota's Sliding Scale Fee Committee, serving families with financial hardship through the divorce process.
